KVM offers 3 production methods, all of which are distinguished by having low investment and short payback time. Addition in the drying drum RAP ring (50%), in hot elevator (30%) or directly in the mixer from weighing belt (40%). Coarse asphalt granules with low bitumen content can advantageously be added into the hot elevator or the drying drum RAP ring, whereas fine asphalt granules with high bitumen content are added in the mixer. If premiums for quality considerations are to be aimed, then adding directly to the mixer is the right solution.

With KVM’s AMC asphalt control, bitumen regulation via Ring and Ball value measurement will ensure that the circular asphalt production is in control.
